I had problems with the auto-patcher, so I downloaded the patch manually using my web browser.
Installed fine, then ran the game - now I can't access any Campaigns and can't load a save.
My progress with patch 1.8 was - all faction Campaigns finished, just Blood Epilogue to play.
Did I patch using the wrong download?
Using Russian version of Heroes VI, non-Steam on Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate, SP1. Playing in Offline mode.
I tried installing the digital patch (the auto-patched was updating using the non-digital download, so I installed that), but it said the patch has already been installed.
No DLCs purchased, no Gold Edition purchased, no SoD purchased - just plain vanilla game.
Help???
