You guys better do something special for those that bought the season pass this year

Overall, the season 4 pass has been pretty much worthless. Besides Mozzie and Amaru on a select few maps, the ops this year have been vastly underwhelming and much of the time unusable. I understand that you’re thinking that “oh, they bought the pass, so they should have assumed the risk that the ops might not be op like every other season” but you have to admit that this year is just different than all the others. Besides the perks like small increase in pack spin % and store discount, the season pass was worth MAYBE 25-40k renown. Gridlock is too fat to use for anything other than helping out with plants, warden...well I don’t even have to explain him, Nokk has laughably weak weaponry, Amaru only works on a few maps and a few objectives, and Goyo hurts you more than he helps you half the time. On top of all this, ALL THE GUNS WERE RECYCLED!!!

Unless you compensate season pass patrons with something like a free—or if not a SERIOUS discount—on the battle pass or gift them extra credits, I can say with absolute certainty that I will never purchase this piece of worthless garbage known as a season pass again.

We have been playing for a couple of says and all of a sudden about two days ago we keep getting disconnected error is Game Session no longer available HODGSON-8220400D and others i didn't get.

I don't see many others complaining but we are having a hell of a time. to the point where i am here posting about it. Any one else. I rebooted my modem my ps4 switched to different game, logged out.

Hello thar.
While playing the game these last couple of days I had a few real interesting ideas.
being the gaming nerd I am I play DND. I noticed that the most recent heroes have an almost mystical note to them.
So why not perhaps meet up with DND and Lord of the rings and come up with a very similiar game to for honor but utilize a little more of a fantasy aspect.

BASE IDEA:
you have another 3-4 factions that you group up with have your faction war and what not. but you end up having something where you have Human paladin vs a berserking Ork, and then maybe throw in some fey. or **** off with the ork nonsense and toss in lichs and ****. Taking a little from things like warhammer and warcraft and what not. not saying change the combat system or the fighting style. but the skills can be flavored a little more mystically. and certain aspects can become a tinny tiny bit more fantastical. Combat system is really becoming well tuned. Races and factions not real limited here but I am using the base races just to get idea across. Will totally play a tiefling(demon kin) paladin for the fey side just to **** with all misconceptions no care no restraint.

additions to this:

your arcade mode can become something like a game of Decent in terms of the story part of it. make dungeons and have a group or a solo run through and beat up some AI and get some loot. Hurray Loot!
this one next is a biggie.

Possible character creation.
choose race, choose weapon, Choose guild (role)
in choosing each of these you get to pick feats at each rank that are related to the race. choosing the weapon determines the move set as well as some feats/skills based on the weapon. and choosing the guild or role IE Vanguard/Assassin/Heavy/Hybrid gives you another set of feats to choose and may alter up some versions of attacks with the weapons. IE hyper armor/unblockable/undodgeable
The roles would also determine the type of armor the character would get.
or perhaps the faction you sign up with would determine the armor style.......have 4 sets or similiar styled armor altered a little for role and race maybe.....
admittedly looking at this from an asset creation path I'm both like OH YEAH! and OH NO!......but the idea still feels worth mentioning.

Alter Faction war to include a more campaign style fight. moving through a map of objectives kinda like a mortal Kombat tower or something like a faction war but more focused. or even have like a big bad AI faction that harasses the faction war causing the population to join in on a campaign against it resulting in a new battle map of players VS big bad. something like GoT where everybody gotta chip in to fight white walkers. reward the side who participates more.

and as just an addition to the base game as well as this one, include open field fights. something where there might be big lanes or tracks of land something akin to either Smite or Dynasty warriors. and set up areas to take that maybe give an advantage to the minions or send some officers to harass a lane. and the end result is a storming into the enemy camp and fighting their leader. sooooo like tug of war breach. more terrain less buildings. or go full on the moba style and have like small turret forts that can be taken. maybe if the map size is really big increase player size to 6v6. Have the boss flanked by two mini bosses (guardians) so it isn't just 6vKing.

anyway. I want to make games for a living. trying to find my way in. here are my ideas I wanted to share just because.

Aliens Event Suggestion since wildlands had a predator event

I was playing the division 2 earlier and started gettin the urge to play wildlands again after watching some breakpoint footage on youtube.
i remembered how wildlands had an event where you fought the predator (like in the movie) and was thinking maybe The Division 2 could do something similar but for the Aliens franchise. when i did the predator event in wildlands i fakin loved it and the mask reward made it worth it, so here is my idea, and i hope i am posting this in the right section. :D

Alien event probably in game something like (Containment Breach Event) or some such

now that the pentagon is released i can see more areas being added to it so why not further down underground there are more secret labs.

Anyhoozle you get an alert saying there is a containment breach in one of the lower labs of the pentagon and you are tasked with investigating.
you return to the pentagon and descent once more into the bowels where you encounter black tusk soldiers ignoring you and running for their lives to stairs, other elevators and what have you while their mechanized war hounds remain on task patrolling the area, you fight them and a few black tusk soldiers left behind trapped or now cut off since you are in the way. you kill them and continue on. further in you start finding wrecked hounds and dead tusks and what appears to be spots here and there of a corrosive fluid. continuing on you fight a few more small or half squads, (survivors) one initiating a cutscene (just a small one) telling you to get the hell out if you want to live. finally after a few more encounters with warhounds (for gameplay sake) you enter a huge laboratory with a large containment room that looked as if something broke out, (another cutscene) on the ceiling in a dark corner you spot movement that suddenly drops down to the ground. it stands up 8...maybe 10ft in height, elongated head, sharp teeth, hissing at you as it crouches lashing its bladed tail. around the creatures neck is what looks like a damaged colla, perhaps designed to shock it. (boss battle ensues, strong as an elite heavy trooper, hard to kill, spits acid that can quickly damage armor) you kill it and take a moment to stop the shaking of your hands and slow your breath.
you continue to explore the lab looking for any kind of information. there, a terminal. a project to study a specimen (created by another scientist or found in some ruins, either would work). you move around to the containment chaimber and find it thankfully empty (challenging difficulty could have a xenomorph egg in it that when you activate it, it opens and gives you a facehugger cosmetic mask.

complete this event on easy, story, challenging, and hard to get all possible rewards.

easy - colonial marines camo outfit and helmet

story - blueprint for backpack (which is a shoulder lamp)

hard - Blueprint Cache containing: Blueprint - mask, chest, holster, gloves, kneepads (which are lower leg armor covering knee to shin) (blueprint cache contains one item so you can do multiple play throughs to collect it all!)

challenging - Blueprint M41-A Pulse Rifle (preferably with proper sounds less you anger the true nerds <3), Arm Patch (blueprint cache contains one item so you can do multiple play throughs to collect it all!)

its just a suggestion for an event, maybe on a Halloween or something but i think it would be fun n_n
reason i was suggesting the blueprint bits was so you could enjoy the armor no matter your level. or you could just combine it all into a whole uniform like for the specializations for example, gunners uniform, sniper outfit, ect.
thinking about ghost recon wildlands just made me think about this and how neat it would be :D

again i hope i am posting this in the right place, though i would love to hear some feedback, i love Predator and i love Aliens and would love to see another homage :D

Abandon sanction for players removed due slow connection

Why whenever I get removed due to a slow connection do I get the abandon sanction when I did not leave the match on purpose it gives a message specifying that I was removed due to a slow connection some times that isn't under our control so I think that for those who are removed due to a slow connection they should not receive an abandon sanction

What is this?

Why whenever I get removed due to a slow connection do I get the abandon sanction when I did not leave the match on purpose it gives a message specifying that I was removed due to a slow connection some times that isn't under our control so I think that for those who are removed due to a slow connection they should not receive an abandon sanction

Sorry but this hero sucks. Attacks are way too slow and easily parried, cant chain anything from dodges cause everything gets parried, zone is too slow, finishers are always parried. For how slow he is, he also deals next to no damage, and has very little health of his own. Not a good hero imo.

So I hoped on today to play some seige... and now I dont have a rank. I have 250+ hours just this season 400 games played and to top it all off no rank, and the message you guys gave me made no sense because it didnt explain anything. heres a link to a screenshot I have of your message and just look my name up on R6 tracker to see my 6-20 games a day. The devs should be committed for some of the idiotic areas they put some these bases. Most specifically the Shark Base in Seal Island. For a game that promotes stealth gameplay as well as action. You idiots decide to put a base where the only way in is the FRONT DOOR!! I mean.... Wow..... just WOW.... that's it! You have officially lost a customer!!

So I did the mission to rescue the programmers.., major recon gathering and an interesting back story introducing the evil Isla Herzog. Later that same day, after the programmers are free, I ride as gunner in their truck and we get to a bridge, and a major firefight ensues as I’m instructed to clear the bridge. There’s several dudes on the bridge, a couple helicopters, and some random patrols join the fun. As soon as it’s over I talk to the programmer and it’s mission completed. I then get a notice that I killed Isla Herzog. WTF?!. How? Was she in the group on the bridge or in one of the helicopters?

It was one of the few characters I was looking forward to shooting in the face because she’s like one of the only characters in the game who had any character build up that’s clearly evil. But I’m denied the satisfaction as I either killed her by accident or as part of the onslaught without realizing it. FFS.

Ubisoft, you suck! The story is so thin, and the only interesting character so far dies from like collateral damage.

Man I hate this game sometimes.

First, I absolutely love the chatter from Sentinel NPCs. Their idle chat-chat is often entertaining enough that it might buy them a few seconds of extra life while I listen to them finish a conversation before putting a few extra holes in their heads. But even better is some of the chatter while under fire... “The new guy is down”, “Sammy’s dead!”, “I’m gonna get you you son-of-ab1tch for killing my friends”, etc. Awesome!

Next, at first I hated the Social Hub, but I actually look forward to going there occasionally to bear witness to some of the goofiest looking operators I couldn’t have even imagined. Although many look like cookie cutter clones, some require me to ensure I’m not drinking when entering Erewhon lest I spit all over my TV as I ROFLMAO at some of the things I see.... Full scuba and mask outfits, plaid tac gear, a full Ghillie suit with a scuba mask, and of course Sith (I mean Wolf) look alikes that somehow aren’t shot on sight... you name it... if there’s a bizarre way to mix and match cosmetics, it’s there in Erewhon. LOL. It’s a riot.

Anyone else getting a kick out of these things?

Its time for For Honor to Implement Draft and Restrictions

So, my team and I have been playing since the early betas. And this topic has come up over the past few years. But I think we have reached a point where it needs to be implemented.

Draft, and restrictions to one hero selection either per side, or per match.

With the introduction of the Sun Da there is a glaring reality hitting most players in the face right now... one which we saw with the centurion, and again with the shinobi, and definitely with the shaman. Three and four Sun Da in a match often.

The introduction of the Sun Da shows us as a player base that Ubisoft is willing to give a hero an unbockable every other strike OR feinted strike.

My team and I played about nineteen matches tonight, and of those matches we found a new horrifying reality as a strategy. Players would select multiple Sun Da and then death ball. With a strike being unblockable every other strike, there is no way to properly defend against multiple Sun Da opponents unless you manage to parry every single strike against you, which is nearly impossible to do. standard locking, Does nothing, and even my Aramushas all black is useless to help.

If this is the type of hero abilities we are going to be seeing from here on, then we need restrictions in matches to help mitigate abuse of these types of mechanics.

I would like to ask the For Honor devs to be implement a draft phase, by which each team can see the other teams selections, person by person to make counter picks. And by which only one of each hero can be in a match. Or at most, on each side.

Not only will this help stop the abuse of hero mechanics, but will force players to master multiple heroes.

I hope this is taken into consideration. It was disappointing to see the abuse taking place in matches by selecting multiples of the new hero. And I cant help but wonder how it was not seen by the developers that this would be very big flaw in the design of the hero regarding player abuse.

Draft phase needs to be implemented, along with restrictions to one of a hero per match or per team.

Sun Da needs to be reworked and fast. He has a very broken match abuse ability

So I posted briefly about this in my post about needing to implement draft and restrictions to one of a hero per side or per match... but this post is directed specifically about the new her, the Sun Da.

He is FINE by himself, which is why this is tough. I can 1 v 1 him easily.... BUT, he is impossible to defend against if there is more than one of him on a team and they 2 v 1 or worse 3 or 4 v 1.

The devs made a HORRIBLE mistake in giving a hero unblockable strikes on every other attack and every other feinted attack. It created a situation by which a Sun Da, partnered with another Sun Da, can literally take turns striking at you with unblockables and the only way to defend it is if you manage to parry EVERY SINGLE STRIKE AGAINST YOU.

I am now seeing teams of four Sun Da REGULARLY. And it is making the game completely unplayable. The devs need to take the hero out of play briefly, and rework him. Or quickly go over this issue, and find a way to fix his mechanics FAST.

PLEASE GET ON THIS! IT IS GAME BREAKING!
