First of all it's indredible and really bad that ubisoft doesn't have a problema solving contact.
People buy the products and if they don't work properly it should be a better way of finding solutions
Forums is not the best way at all...
So... my problem is:
Might and magic heroes VI simply stopped working. I played, closed the game and the next time I tryed to play a Windows message appears "this program has stopped working"
After unsuccessfully searching the forums I formatted my computer and Great, the game works but all the progress is gone. I took the files from documents folder that i had saved and placed them in the new documents folder and tryed to open the game... "this program has stopped working".
After experiences in changing those files I discovered that the problem is the ProfileData.
Strange thing.. Altough the game has access to my profile (when I start the game it creates the file) if I paste the CampaignData and DinastyData files in the new folder the game runs but no saved games.
I like the game but I have a busy life so it took me a month to get to the 2nd or 3rd level of the Anastasia campaign. I really don't want to go through that again and I shouldn't. I believe the problem happened on updating the game corrupting the ProfileData file
Does anyone has some solluction "hoppe is the last to dye".
If I'm toasted here it goes a message to ubisoft. It is great to create this way for games to work because you really should protect your creations but If that gives problems to the buyers it's really bad.
