Why is account merging not a thing yet? Is it a money grab?

I made the mistake of buying this game on console, so I have to deal with a bunch of stuff—like no console leaning even though it’s easily fixable—that I wouldn’t have to had I bought it for pc. I’d 100% switch over if i didn’t have to rebuy the game.

It makes absolutely no sense. Why do you allow infinite smurfs on console but won’t budge when it comes to merging accounts? Is it just a money grab or are you so scared that you’ll lose your entire console community because of how trash the platform is? Either way, it doesn’t look good for you guys. You have two options: fix console or just let the hostages head over to pc.
