I've been playing in the tournament and noticed some combos which I would like to see stopped. This is not sour grapes for loosing. I lost to 10 other decks I don't have a problem with. I'm not even saying whether or not these strategies are OP. There are certainly counters (the easiest to both being play as Dhamiria) but I do think these combos should be prevented for reasons that I will now explain...
The first combo is Prison + Cosmic Singularity (+ tutoring). With this combo a player can play prison multiple times. Once you add in tutoring/searching effects it even means that a player can play prison several times in a row. I played a Sandalphon who played prison 3 out of 4 turns. Now this is not necessarily OP because you can play as Dhamiria or rush down your opponent before they get enough resources but it is a bad playing experience. Not being able to do anything for several goes in a row should be prevented for the good of the game. I personally think all unique cards other than Shi-No-Shi should be removed once they hit the graveyard but maybe there are other ways to disable this combo.
The other combo is Enthral + Spell Steal. With this combo a player can cast enthral and then steal it and cast it again for just 3 resources. A player takes control of 2 creatures for 8 resources, 3 for 11 resources, 4 for 13 resources. Note that only the last creature which still has enthral on it can be removed with dispel. This combo is probably not OP and is not even a bad game play experience as you could still come back with a board wipe or finish your opponent with quick attack creatures. The reason I want this stopped is because it is just wrong. It is not how the cards should work. Once enthral is removed through spell steal then your opponent should no longer control your creature. If spell steal is cast on any other spell the effect does not remain active. For example: when icy weapon is stolen the creature the spell is stolen from does not get to keep the +3 attack from the spell. Why should enthral work any differently? The whole point of releasing enthral was to make the control creature spell something that could be dispelled.
Sorry for rambling on so long. Id be interested to hear the thoughts of others in the community about these combos.
