Hi Everyone!
I am unable to update Heroes VI (and therefore play the game) because an error occurs each time. I have tried both regular update procedure (using the game launcher) and manual update procedure (downloading first update 1.1 from website) and both have failed.
Regular update procedure results in this error message: "Runtime Error - Program: C:... This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way"
The manual update procedure resulted in the error message: "Can't apply patch because Might And Magic Heroes VI is not yet installed".
The game is installed on my new computer (Windows 8).
Antivirus/Firewall: Zonealarm Extreme Security Suite.
I meet all the required and recommended computer specifications to run the game.
Can anyone please help me with this error? I'd really appreciate any assistance! I bought this game and it appears to be a complete dud! :(
