Needless to say, I am ticked off. Here is why!
I woke up this morning, figured I would get a game in before work today. Log into Uplay, started Splinter Cell and what happens?
The game starts all the way from the beginning. I couldn't stop it, I couldnt close it, I couldnt Alt-F4 it. It AUTO SAVED over all the time I had already put into the game.
Now I am back to square one, no way to reclaim my lost data and time, at least that I know of.
So perhaps someone can shed some light on how I might be able to retrieve my saved data?
If all my info is gone, and I gotta start completely over, then perhaps Ubisoft can learn from this and let us be able to make our own game saves? So that the info CANT be lost unless dictated by the player.
Secondly, why in the hell would the game decide, all on its own, that It had to start from the beginning?
Forgive me for my hostility, I am beset by this. During the course of the game starting itself over, It auto saved countless times, and I couldnt stop it.
