Multi Tiered Maps is what Spy's VS Merc's is Missing.
When You look back to the first Spy's Vs Merc's "Pandora Tomorrow" The Maps were multi tiered, with a Complex of Rooms, False Ceilings, Vents, Stairs and Lifts.
The complexity of the Maps, added a lot to the Atmosphere of Spy's VS Merc's. And Map Knowledge was one of the keys to Victory for both the Spy Team and the Merc Team.
Splinter Cell Double Agent simplified the Maps somewhat but still featured nice Complex Maps, anyone remember "Red Diamond" that Map was a Masterpiece.
Now in Blacklist, the Maps are pretty Environments to navigate, but by comparison, are basic in Complexity and Scale. Where are the Vents and False Ceilings.
