[PC] Game wont start at all (Splinter cell blacklist) uplay sucks

So I bought Blacklist off steam and after several hours of downloading the game was ready to play.

I Click play on steam and to my annoyance I have to download the stupid-*** Uplay launcher In order to play my game off Steam (another game launcher WTF?)

So I after wasting my time downloading Uplay and registering I entered the correct CD key that steam gave me.

Splinter Cell Black List appeared in my games tab

I go to it and click Play, only to discover that ****ty Uplay cant even start the game.

When i click play for a millisecond a screen pops up saying something about synchronizing (i cant read it because it vanishes to quickly)

Then the ****ty launcher says "thank you for playing tom Clancys splinter cell blah blah blah - Steam" in the useless overview menu


I paid $60 dollars for this game and Uplay seems to be ****ing me out of playing it. I get no error message, nothing, so i cant even try to solve the problem myself.
I have restarted my computer and even uninstalled/re installed uplay but still nothing. If i had known this would happen I wouldn't have bought the game in the first place
