Assasins creed 1 No CD?

Hi, i was just going through my old games and found my assasins creed 1 for PC.
i recently bought a new laptop, but it doesnt have a CD drive, and i was wondering if there are any ways i can download a client or something to play?
i have the CD, CD key and all, but i dont have anything like an external CD drive, nor does any of my friends
