Now then. SvM is coming. And in great shape too. Whoop! Slay a goat!
Once it is in our soon-redundant disk loaders, here is what we'll be looking at..
Our new SvM is getting, at launch:
6 MAPS
Silo - The trainyard and warehouse sunset map.
Virus Vault - The helicopter pad, and pharmaceutical storage labs map.
Cartel - The streets and mansion house carnival map.
Hospital - A derelict and burning hospital map.
Map 5
Map 6
2 GAMEMODES
Classic - Limited loadouts, dark map variants, 2 Vs 2, no cosmetic / suit / loadout customisation.
Blacklist - Wide-open customisation, loadouts, light map variants, 4 Vs 4, spies with guns ;)
So this is what we're getting for launch. I did suspect we would have more gamemodes at launch, but hearing all of the developer interviews and comdevs, it is always discussed as a two mode vision.
So my question is where would you like to see the developers take this after launch? Do you want a stream of fresh content released in the months following? Do you want events with customised playlist requirements to happen every fortnight (AC3 style)? Do you want developer head-to-heads? Are you desperate to see more maps, or do you want a dribble of unpaid content to keep it alive and interesting? Do you want leagues or such like where you can play to be rewarded with cosmetic touches for your Spy or Merc (I'm hoping for a red beret option, and unique rewards for my Classic spy to differentiate him from the crowd)..
If Ubisoft Montreal have the time and budget for us, where do you want to see it go?
P.S. HUGE disclaimer I know we ALL want post-launch support for patches and our feedback - assume that is a given, and think to stimulating the community instead.
