Just updated to newest Uplay software. It now won't let me log in "offline".
The log in window tells me I have to log in first online, before I can log in offline.
Great, but I can't log in to Uplay to get to where I can "click to go online".
Hopefully there is a local file on my hdd I can edit to change "offline mode" to "online mode".
If there is such a file, does anyone know where it is? I've searched a bit, but came up empty handed.

OK... I finally figured it out. On the Uplay log in screen, I eventually noticed the little gear icon next to
the minimize and close buttons. Clicking that let me uncheck the the "always login offine" box.
Back in business.
