There is couple of threads already (mostly about beta worlds) but I decided to start a new one. I'm pretty sure there is a consensus about certain things being not right on PvE worlds and it's time to point those out if we are to have any hope for fixes.
Biggest problem I see is that earning dwarfs & strength of DE attacks is imbalanced.
Currently it's impossible to earn enough dwarfs to defend the RFs. WE have 2 RFs and just barely holding them. Can't even dream of going for 4.
Balancing can be done in many ways, but if someone actually reads this, please try one at a time and give it some time to see the effect or PvE will only be ruined even more.
1. Increase the dwarf rewards from rifts by a factor of 2 and we might be close to realism. Or just increase the rift strength. About 20% shouldn't be a problem for anyone.
2. More rifts. Increase the limit per alliance from 5 to 10. That would give people more action and basicly double the amount of dwarfs one alliance can get.
3. Give dwarf rewards from every DE attack beaten. If this is done wrong, it has potential of ruining everything but it is still an option.
4. Increase the strenght of DE's defending RFs. Probably most dangeous way, because it could ruin the game for weaker alliances. But currently only handfull of fortresses are being held by players and rest are used for getting dwarf rewards. The rewards are too small and we could easily take out stronger defenders. But that might not be true for weaker alliances
5. Some vestige levels also give dwarf rewards as extra reward. You could change it so evere level would give dwarfs as extra rewards, just like rifts. OR change normal troop rewards into dwarfs. In this way we could get rid of those extra vestige items that most of us collected on season 3. I for one have about 50 of those and there is little need for them.
6. Special PvE vestiges. Only reward would be dwarfs and the reward goes up at each level.
7. Change the multipliers in sacrificing troops. The 0,25 that is used to reach a strength of 9 million defenders is ok. After that it's just no use to sacrifice more troops. So either fix the multiplier or increase the breaking points. The current 3 million interval for two first and then 6, 8 and 10 millions, just for example. So when you have 6 million dwarfs the multplier would be 0,5 till you reach 12 million, then 0,25 till you reach 20 million and so on. I think this proposal would ensure that even small alliance has easy time to hold the 3 RFs and bigger alliances would have hopes of going past 4 or maybe even 8 as the strength of attacks increase.
